Name: Bram Stolk, indie game-dev
Company: stolk.org
Last Project: HoverBiker for iOS http://stolk.org/HoverBiker/ - http://stolk.org/HoverBiker/

Req'd artwork: 6 walk animations
Rough indication of fee: $150,- (up to $300 with some additional sprites)

Hi there,

I am an indie-dev that needs some pixel art animations of a soldier walking or running. I found the perfect example already, and is exactly what I need, but the artist Monsoon2D is not replying to messages, so here is your chance to make some money if you can imitate his results.

This is bang on for what I need:

In Monsoon2D's art, there is only 1 walk anim where the soldier walks left and down.

I need animations for 6 different walk directions, as the game will be on a hex-grid. So I need:

- walk left / dn (as in example)
- walk left / up
- walk right / dn (mirror of example)
- walk right / up
- walk straight up
- walk straight dn

In addition, I also need 6 resting (standing) poses.

Note: I say walk here, but the soldier in the example runs, which I think looks even better than walking. So running would be a plus.

Size: roughly the size of the example. If it's a few pixels larger that is fine. Add padding to make them square.

Palette: should be somewhat limited, so that it is easier to make blue/red version of the same guy by just altering the palette.

Nr of frames: I will leave that up to you. The framecount on the example looks nice, but fewer frames would be fine as well.

If you can match the quality in the example I gave, I have a few hundred dollars available for it, which can be payed via pay pal. A percentage can be paid upfront if req'd.

If you have the skills for this, let me know. Drop some similar art examples in this thread or in my email, along with your conditions, time lines, etc.

Contract terms:
If you want you can retain copyright, but you have to grand me the rights to use your art in my games, and in the promotion of my games. Your artwork may be used in merchandise like t-shirts, to promote my game. I will not resell your art as-is, and you can use the art for your own use on blogs, forums, etc.
