Hello,
I run a
website, and development team with a co-partner from Nebraska. I'm
from Canada. We're currently working on a Unity game project with a
development team of about 10. Also working with another 2d artist on
a game, but that projects moving really slow.
I'd love to take
on another project, with an individual, or individuals interested in
making a game. I'm hoping that I can find some people that are
interested in working at a good pace, and actually getting things
done. I'm not an artist, but I can do the programming.
I have
some interests in doing a plat form game. Something simple, and not
too large to complete, but yet something fun. Some examples of simple
yet fun plat formers might be Super Turrican if anyone has played
games from that snes series.
I also have interests in creating
a horror game. I've been cooking up ideas on a game called Isa Bella
Nightmare. I like to think that it would be a interesting game
something like Silent Hill meets Link To The Past.
Another
cool idea I've had is a platformer RPG. This would be something like
Mario meets Castlevania, and does a little tango with Secret of Mana.
It would be interesting to take a simple plat former like Mario but
have it so players are encouraged to defeat enemies not for fun, but
to gain experience so that they can defeat enemies on later
levels.
Of all the ideas posted here my favorites would have
to be the horror pixel game, and the platformer RPG.
Also, if
a team is interested in working on a different title altogether
that's fine. I'm also interested in hearing the ideas of
others.
feel free to check out our
site.

Now I'll
explain why the post says unpaid/paid.
All our projects are
being worked on by individuals just breaking into the video game
industry. We have a lot of talent on board, but we haven't finished
our projects yet, so we haven't generated any revenues, aside from
the textures that we've been selling on the site. All games that
we're working on will be sold at some point.
One other thing I
wanted to mention. Oh yes, for this new project if we go with a pixel
horror game I'd love to find some voice actors for the project to
make it a little more interesting than the average indie game..
Also
the horror game doesn't have to be Isa Bella Nightmare, let me know
if you've got interests in another horror game idea :).
feel
free to pm me on here, or use the contact form on the site. Another
way to reach me is to sign up for the forum, but I'll definitely be
checking this thread.
Thanks for your time, JB.
