Hello, I have just started with pixel art, and I am having a lot of trouble with proportions of pictures. My first picture was drawed on notebook with 1024x768 and it looked ok, but then i saw it on pc with 1280x1024 and it was deformed, it looked thin. Now I made second picture in 1024x600 on netbook and on 1280x1024 it looks ok, but I dont know if it will look ok on other people monitors. How should I solve this problem? Does native resolution of my netbooks monitor matter? I am quite baffled by this, I thought pictures will look the same everywhere, but apparently they don't. And in pixel art I probably cant just stretch the picture, so what should I do? Other people pictures look good, so I am probably missing something.

one of your monitors is in a non-native resolution if the pixels are being stretched. the pixel is a perfect square, so that's the only explanation for deformed art.
