Hi, my name is Mark. By the way, I'm 18.
This post is about a game(orpg) I am currently working on. I'm the main/sole programmer(a team may be formed).
The job will start off unpaid. I am looking for someone with some experience and a certain style of art(if there is such a thing.) This style would be a mix of rpg and half-sized.
This game is actually somewhat extremely early in development. I expect it to be at a playing point around summer(if not then, around the end of 2012.) The reason for this is... well, I'm just learning how to program(more info = send a message).
Now, related to the forum rules:
1. I would not call myself a company, but if I had too, I would say sole owner willing to become a partnership(into a team).
2.You will have to be able to create common rpg items that look decent(swords, sprites, etc.). (Six months to a year is plenty of time to practice.)
If you're lucky, more than one person will apply and we can split the work of art making.
3. We'll start off unpaid. This game isn't for profit. It's a completely free-time, for-fun thing. If development goes far enough along, and I feel you deserve compensation for your work, we'll talk about it. (I'll make it fair.) The payments will most likely come from content. You tell me how long something took to make. I measure quality, then I will pay per item/sprite(or sprite or content package).
4. My email address is pulasul@yahoo.com.
5. Sorry, n/a. Maybe I will have a website up down the road.
6. Pretty much n/a, I have attempted a byond game project before.
More details of the game itself are available through message. Just contact me here on the forum or send me an email.
To make this even simpler...
I am looking for a somewhat inexperienced pixel artist(or artists) with potential. This potential would allow you to develop your skill in a six to twelve month period. This also allows the possibility of payment later on.
