Hello everyone. ^.^
I've been working independently on a game engine for the past year or so.
But recently I've pulled together a team of 3.5 programmers, a web designer, and...a  (mostly) completely useless person to help me in completing this game.

I'm in charge of music composition as well as programming, so at this point the only thing we're really missing is a pixel artist. >.>"

The storyline involves a girl who becomes involved in a power struggle between three forces when she runs away from home...and tradgedy strikes her family.
There will be both modern and mythical elements within the game.

The game will be released in both Japanese and English. (I'm covering the translation, too.)
As a random note, the music will be composed strictly with the Gameboy Color's sound chip. For this reason and a few others, the name of our group is 'CGB'.

The more you can do as a pixel artist, the better, as we're probably going to need all kinds of pixel art, including overworld sprites, overworld tiles, battle sprites, and probably more. Obviously basic sprite animation skills are a must-have for the overworld, but don't hesitate to submit a request if you are afraid your skills aren't sufficient for battle sprite animations.

It's important to realize: this is a long-term project. We're expecting to release within a year...or two. We also aren't necessarily going to put you to work full-throttle the second you join. We'll be working at a steady pace. If you just want to be a part of a fun RPG project, you're the person we're looking for.

If you're looking for money, we're willing to provide it, but you should be well prepared to show you're worth the cash. We'll negotiate salaries on a case-by-case basis.

Here's a brief test video of the game engine (using temporary sprites, obviously):

Thanks for reading, and we look forward to reading your requests!
