Hi everyone, My name is Ali Batı. I'm a full time indie flash game developer from Turkey. I've developed some games in the past. (Latest game: http://www.kongregate.com/games/sihirbaz/all-that-matters/ - All That Matters ) (For other games, you can check my http://www.batiali.com/ - portfolio ) I'm currently developing a simulation & strategy game called Domination. It's highly inspired by Game of Thrones, Civilization series & Rebuild. But it still has unique elements to make gameplay exciting. I used to keep a devlog running in tigsource, if you are interested you can get more information from there. ( http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=22982.0 - Devlog ) So, there is already an artist and a composer I'm collaborating with on this project. But I need another pixel artist to work with on this project. First task is to create a bunch of icons (55 to be exact, all 40x40 pixels and two-color only (black & white)) This is a paid work, we will discuss the price first and when the task is done and everything is ok, you will recieve the payment quickly via paypal. Here is the list of icons that I'm currently needing: Technology icon pack: Anatomy, Artesian Well, Artillery, Assassination, Banking, Biology, Calendar, Chemistry, Chess, Chivalry, Compass, Construction, Crossbow, Currency, Diplomacy, Education, Engineering, Flanking, Gunpowder, Horseshoe, Iron Working, Luxury, Mapmaking, Masonry, Mathematics, Medicine, Migrating, Mining, Paper, Plate Armor, Poisoning, Sailing, Scouting, Spying, Statistics Trait icon pack: Strategist, Dictator, Gambler, Reverend, Visionary, Leader, Barbarian, Bluffer, Cunning, Insidious Sign icon pack: Cat, Boar, Wolf, Bear, Dragonfly, Owl, Snake, Elephant, Bug, Fish There will probably be more tasks on this project, but I like to keep things simple. Other tasks can be talked later if we both want to continue working with each other. Also, there is a high chance that I will port the game to mobile as well. By black/white, do you mean a 1-bit image, or just high-contrast linework? Would something like this be adequate?
It's not pixel art and it uses a couple more colors, but I have a feeling you're looking more for this than for 1-bit art. I gotta run now, but I'll whip up some samples and show you tomorrow. ------------- ▄▄█ ▄▄█ ▄█▄ ▄█▄ |
