Hello,

I want to let you know that I finally finished a game I've been working on for about 1 year now. The game intends to make programming more approachable to my students by having them create programs to move a robot through a level and have him light all the light tiles.

The game has several pixel art graphics that have been created by users from this forum following a request I made in August 2011 in http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=12651&PID=151551#151551 - this thread . Two artists kindly agreed to help me with my game:

- http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1925 - Zenobia created the background image in the welcome screen, the achievement icons as well as the graphics in the help screen.

- http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2146 - surt created the robot sprite (4 directions + animations).

I am eternally grateful for their help and can't thank them enough. Without them I couldn't have finished the game and have it look like it does today.

You can find the final game here: http://www.lightbot.lu/ - http://www.lightbot.lu/

I'm impressed. I agree that it targets little kids to begin to learn to program. In fact, I like the idea so much that I may do another "basic" programming game once I finish the one I'm working on. I'm no artist, but I really like the concept. :D
