This is a long shot, I don't know if it's actually even possible to achieve (google does not have the answer) but here goes.

Anybody familiar with webfonts and how they work?
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface

I'm trying to use a pixel font (ie. redensek, silkscreen etc) as a webfont but it won't render sharply, at any size. I think there is some aa/smoothing that the browser puts in, but using css to turn that off doesn't help either.

Is it a lost cause?

I know my other alternative is to use graphics, but I'd like to know if it can be done with webfonts.

Good question! I have always had to resort to fonts as images to keep the pixelfonts sharp.
