Hi everyone,
I feel stupid even asking this question because I'm sure the answer is super simple and I'm not sure why I haven't figured it out yet... But I haven't.

I'm creating my pixel art in adobe illustrator CS5 (I have the master collection, so potentially I could use a different program, but I'm super partial to illustrator) ...

Anywho, I cannot figure out how to save my art without the program(s) changing or adding pixels/colors. I'm assuming there's a dithering or antialiasing or something going on.

Here's a few things I've tried that have not worked:
 1: save for web: png
 2: save for web: gif
 3: export: png
4: copy and paste into photoshop, save for web
5: copy and paste into photoshop, save as
(I may be remembering some of these wrong, I should've been more methodical and taken notes or something)
Sorry for the ubernoob question, any help on how to save correctly in CS5 would be rad. Thanks in advance guys.
