Revision required for ../pixels/submit_icons.asp?id=8266 - The Affable TUTU REASON: Pixel Joint is sorry to inform you that your submission does not meet our quality standards or the art needs revision for some miscellaneous reason. OK, so... What are those so called standards? I have posted it in the WIP section to get feedback. Since I couldn't get anything valuable, I decided to make small changes and submit it. Now you say it is not accepted??? Why is that? I really see nothing wrong with it. |

They Didnt accept your sprite for several reasons I think... 1.I checked out your post and the sprite looks way to pixely-It looks like it was done in a couple of minutes. 2.I assume it is a WIP since you posted it in the WIP forum which therefore leads to they dont accept WIP'S/ 3.The backround of the image is not transparent-unless you sent them a transparent one.. Other then that I hope that helps you to understand why they did not accept your pixel art piece.Also I am not sure but should these "Revision Topics" really be topics.Maybe they should be pms or maybe they shouldnt be allowed at all.Since obviously half the people who submit them and dont get accepted didnt follow the guidelines  .------------- Check out my site Gm Reviews www.gmzone.net |

If it doesn't look like effort was put into it/looks FAR below the skill level of the general public, it won't be accepted. I'm assuming you could probably do better. Just look at it for a few, and pick out everything in it you're NOT completely happy with, then try change those things. ------------- "I was minding my own business and walking across a pebbled path, and a Duck started giving me the business." |

The thing is, it is not a WIP anymore... It took me about 2h to do it. Not a couple of minutes. And the outlines have been worked on, with shades of gray on it. If it's lack of colours they are complaining about, It is supposed to be this way. Not too colorfull. Also, I have seen many pieces that WERE accepted and that have a much more simple appearence...  Sokoto1, If you say it looks too pixely, any idea on how I could improve that? Anyway, thanks for the feedback |

When I meant pixely I meant the edges maybe you should zoom it out it looks like it was a sprite then zoomed in double then posted.
