Hello Pixel Joint! I'm the creator of The Pocalypse webcomic ( http://www.thepocalypse.com - http://www.thepocalypse.com - also pixel art! :D) and I want to let you all know about my dev studio's new project: The Pocalypse Defense 2! (TPD2) TPD2 will be an open-world RPG that will use the Tower Defense genre as inspiration for its battle system. It will be available on Windows/Mac/Linux platforms and on the iPad. It'll be mostly pixel art, like the webcomic that it's based on. Through the campaign, we also want to give fans a chance to be part of the development process, so we're offering funding perks that will allow funders to play betas and participate in game discussion. We're also giving everyone a chance to in the game as an NPC sprite, a playable Hero, and/or even a boss character! Thanks for checking out our work and I'd love to hear some feedback from pixel artists who are far more skilled and experienced than I am :D Who knows, we may need some extra pixel art help during development! |
