I like this B/W sketch here, but the coloring process makes me mad

where should I start from? is there some tips and tricks?

ooh, I really like where this is going, and I always really like your line art, but are you gonna finish and refine the line art first? I'd do that before worrying about the coloring!

thank you Frost Butt. the line art comes always easy and in a really short time, but I can spend hours trying to work with colors and still be very disappointed

this is my attempt to put some colors . I've also rotated the canvas to draw the face, and it doesn't look bad imao. what do you think?

last update, not bad after all but I feel I need to stop for today

added some detail to the hands. not sure about the walls in the background. I want to keep them minimal but there's still something I could do to make them better

Watch your lightsource on the ticketstub, you could maybe add arches to the walls or something, just to cast a shadow and break it up a bit.  Also I'm not sure about the table, seems it would be lighter towards the man's elbow and darker behind his hands.

Also the lightshafts don't really work, light is more like a wide beam, broken up by the guys shadow.

it's been a long time since the last time I pixelled something... so i decided to edit this not finished piece. I desaturated the colors and changed the background, so now it looks more like a library or server room. I don't know.
