Hello, I need some crowns for my forum. 16w x 16h to 18w x 16h. Post how much it'll cost and how to contact you. Payment via PayPal. I think one in silver and one in gold should be enough (same crown, different color).

That's a silly thing to offer money for... PM me how you would like them to look, and I'd be happy to do it for free.

@Chesu: Don't undermine the artist profession at one of their own marketplaces by offering services for free.

It's a 16x16 crown... No decent person would charge more than a dollar or two for that, and Paypal takes something like thirty cents plus three percent on this type of transaction. Sure, someone who works commission should technically only offer to do something for free if they think it will secure them work that pays, and I see where you're coming from as a matter of principle, but this is like asking a caricature artist for a quote on an eyebrow. Just let the poor guy have his eyebrow.

If you or someone else would like to take payment for this though, I guess you can go right ahead.

I would have done it for 5 dollars or so, that would buy me a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.  Think about that Chesu, unless you don't need to eat.

He's perfectly correct in offering money. I saw a guy on another board who was offering $100 for a 16 x 16 favicon. He rationalised it by saying that if his site was open for just 5 years, that would work out with a good icon representing his site at $20 per year (that's obviously out of the norm though).

It's dickish to say that people shouldn't ask for money in a field where it's already hard to find paying work. And remember, you get what you pay for.

So yeah, kudos to TheSteven.

I have contacted Chesu, but two options are better than one. Is anyone interested? If so, please post how much you'll charge.

$20 seems a bit pricey for a 16x16 image.

I'll do it for 8$
Look at my gallery and you will see that I do lots of sprites and am quite good at it!
