Hi I'm artwark and I love pixel art.

I'm an amateur so here are some of my works which I made in my free time.

Ok I'm not really a great artist and all but I'd like some impressions about pixel art since its an easy art for me.

Here are some of my pixel artworks.

Truth is that I'm a bad artist and a friend of mine told me that pixel art is easy to draw so I decided to do that.I just want to know my position at this point even though I know i'm really horrible.

Oh and If anyone is interested in drawing pixel art for my game let me know.

Your friend lied. Pixel art presents more issues than, say, traditional drawing. The work looks very amateur. The collab section is not the right section for this, however. I've moved this topic to the WIP section. If you don't plan on working on these further by applying critique, then it'd probably be better to delete the thread however. There's really no point in a 'rate my pixels' thread.

I am no professional when it comes to pixel art but I do have a good base in art thanks to books, school and practice. A lot of practice.

I can't really critique the first few drawings but I can critique the human sprites a bit. From what I have learned in pixel art is to clean your lines. So far all I see it's jagged lines, you need to clean up quite a bit. Also, you'll need to work on shading so it's a bit more contrasting. Don't worry, even I have a hard time with shading myself but practice is what makes it perfect.

I'd recommend you start spriting at a smaller scale before tackling something bigger. Also, observing (not copying mind you) existing game sprites or artwork can help quite a bit, in my opinion.

Another advice, try to find good pixel art tutorials, which is something I do.
