Hello! My name is Kirby, and I'm looking for a general purpose artist.
- Company Info - It's not so much a 'company' yet. It's me and another guy developing games. In the future though, I do plan to expand. At the moment though, we're just a couple guys communicating through Skype and programming with each other.
- Job Info - I'm looking for a general purpose artist who can do characters, background, etc. Your art can be pixel art, but it doesn't have to be. As long as it looks nice. At the moment, it's really a stress-free job. Just a hobby, for now. You'll be working with us, probably communicating via Skype (IM, never/rarely voice/video chat). I'm in the United States, and the other half is in the UK, so you'll never find yourself without work/guidance/company due to time zone issues. One big perk to working with us is that instead of just being a slave to a boss who tells you what to create, you get to have direct input as to how the game will shape up.
- Paid or not? and salary info? - It's unpaid for now, sorry! But when we begin to generate revenue, you'll get paid just as much as us!
- Email address- You can contact us at newpy@mail.com and I would recommend contacting us via e-mail instead of on here, because you'll get your message read within minutes by e-mail. To be safe though, you should send us an email, a PM, and reply to this.
- Company website - We don't have one yet! How unprofessional, I know. Shame. But we'll probably get one soon enough.
- Previous projects - Our credibility is quickly dropping, isn't it? No outstanding previous projects. We're largely experimental right now, but we'll get more professional as we go along.
So again, if you're interested, please contact us at newpy@mail.com or leave a reply (e-mail preferred).
NOTE: We're not professional by any stretch of the imagination. As you can imagine, we're quite young. So it would be ideal that our third member would also be young. It's not required, but definitely preferred.
Another note: We don't require any impressive portfolio. As long as your art is good, it's all good. It's a good chance to show off your skills, and we'll definitely promote you as much as we can, so you can get good recognition.
EDIT: This position has now been filled! You may, however, still apply if you think you'd work well with us.
