You know, Im a firm believer in the fact that sprites that are created at any skill level will work in a game, so long as everything in the game is created in the same style (contrast, saturation, etc.) and at the same skill level.

That being said, is there anything in particular with this spriteset you want critiqued?  There are many things I could give you advice on, but since you could have a certain style in mind, you may or may not need any help at all.

well I just put it into my game and i want to get peoples thoughts on using a non traditional size like this.

Again, if everything else is that size and style, then the game will work fine.  In fact, youre probably better off using a size youre comfortable with.
