Hello, I am Andrew Pedersen, lead developer and programmer on Vault of Heaven, a 2d Strategy RPG in the vein of Final fantasy tactics or Arc the lad. My team (of 3 currently) is looking for an artist who is looking for work and is willing to accept a split of revenue at game release.

Right now we're in a pretty early phase, with a large part of the engine built, with quite a bit of work left to go. Right now I am trying to get the game assets polished enough for a presentable video and demo showing off the combat system.

So far I've been getting by with placeholder art, but I feel the project has hit a state where we have enough progress on the game to show potential developers that we are serious and have put in time and effort towards this project, and as such we aren't going to disappear overnight.

What you can expect from us:
  • Sweat Equity - Our programmers in particular have put in lots of time into the project so far.
  • Flexibility - We've built our engine to be very adjustable. If you feel something needs to be changed, there is a good chance we can change it within a day. 
  • Creative input - While we have a storyline written for the game,  we haven't set anything in stone. If you want to make your mark, go ahead.


What we expect from team members:

  • Reasonably skilled - We expect our team members to be skilled with the tools and tasks that they will be using.
  • Good attitude - Self explanatory. Nobody wants to deal with drama.
  • Communicative - If you want clarification for something, or are going to be missing for a week or so, we should know so we can help or adjust workflow accordingly. 
  • Timeliness - We don't expect our team members to put in 40 hours a week, but we would like a fairly regular amount of time put in.
