Greetings
I'm a single programmer creating a tactical turn based game with research and development on free time with no current funding and I've found myself in need of an artist for a partnership.
This is a very ambitious project but that's what it also makes it fun.
Theme is sci-fi mixed with fantasy so I give priority to fans of sci-fi, tech and people with knowledge on supernatural/paranormal.
I'm trying to recreate semi-realistic a gray environment that involves the player into fear of unknown and places him into tricky survival situations. Similar gameplay to UFO extraterrestrials, http://xcomorigin.com/2d-design-en/ufo-enemy-unknown-en/ - xcom , syndicate (old), http://projectzomboid.com - Project Zomboid .
There will be lots of environments to be recreated... From urban to wild and satanic environments with a variety of biology, geology and other hazard environments.
The game story is yet to be developed since now I’m focusing into creating the game engine but It will be related to an earth invasion with anomalous events.
I'm looking for a creative partner that can help me to give the visual feeling/feedback I want for the game. This means to occasionally we might do some research on topics such as psychology, rituals, fear of darkness, myths, etc...to create something never seen before :)Suggestions about storyline are also welcome. Like I said I look for partnership...
I wish to have constant communication via skype, irc, google talk or some other this is necessary to avoid misunderstandings.
Also it would be good to show me samples of some previous works on your application.
This project is currently progressing slow since I’m working alone and studding but I’m really anxious to see what you guys can do and implement new ideas and features based on teamwork.
And if this project reach the market of course I will share the income.
If this looks good to you let me know...
