Hi I'm an indie game programmer.

I have a hard time to learn to create sprite art for my own project. After a lot of tutorial I find it's very hard for me to draw pixel on computer with a mouse so i look at my kindle fire and think I can make an app for tablet and hope it may seek some light for pixel art learning.

And that how I create this app, it turn out that i got a lot of fun when make it. So i hope I can share this with everyone and maybe I can get some feedback to improve it.

This app is affected by a lot of tutorial I read, the way I layout the interface and the function is what i think is important or not nesscesary but I want to know how a real pixel artist will use my app. So if you got any idea please let me know, i would be very apreciated

So thanks a lot for taking time to read my story. This is the app, hope I will receive a lot of feedback so i can improve it

It's good, I like it.  The balck border is a  bit irritating though.  I'd put a pink outline or something between that border and canvas.

Thank you :), I'll consider to adding a border between them in future update.

I like it :) I did this test with the preloaded palette

It'd be cool to have a "selection" tool, so you can move parts of your art, and maybe duplicate it or flip it.

I'll do some more tests with the DB palette

A 100% zoom window would be awesome too :)

Yeah, a selection tool is a great idea. But I still have a hard time to figure out the best way to handle the select process on a touch screen device. A preview 100% zoom is great too, I will consider adding in future version.

Thank you for your feedback

Used it on my Mom's android since I have an iPhone, it's better than the TinyPixel app I have.

Other than what's already been discussed, it's perfect.

Nice pixel art app so far. Like the guys said up top. Just missing a couple things and it would be a Great Pixel art app.

I was also wondering if you planned on doing any more updates? if not what are the chances of getting the source code from you? I am starting to learn android development and would like to see how you created your app.
