Hi!

Not sure how to handle this, so I'm just going to jump right in.  I had an idea recently and am currently working on an album that tells a story.  Since the music I make is (mostly) instrumental, I am really wanting to accompany the album with something along the lines of a graphic novel.

As I attempted to create the art myself, I was reminded how bad of an artist I am.  As I tried to brainstorm a way around my limitations, I thought it might be cool to have a graphic novel done completely in pixels.  I suck at it myself, but I know I've seen some amazing work around here in the past and love/respect the art form.

To give an idea of what the music for this project will sound like, please check out this song:  https://soundcloud.com/user7260216/mike-fasano-changeling - https://soundcloud.com/user7260216/mike-fasano-changeling

If I get any interest whatsoever, I'm more than willing to share more information.  I have 5 songs at least mostly completed (including the preview linked above) and a preface for the story written. I'm trying to keep the project fairly under wraps until it's release, but that's hard for me as I like to share every song as soon as it's complete...

To give a general idea of what the art would contain, it will have some space scenes, but most of the story occurs on an alien planet.  A lot of alien terrain and creatures

This is completely a for fun passion project that will be released for free online.  I'm thinking to have the graphic novel as a PDF that can be downloaded alongside the music.  My plan is to release it sometime this summer, but I don't have any real release date in mind (just when it's complete and I'm happy with the results).

If you like the idea but feel that a graphic novel is too much, I'm thinking maybe an image or 2 per song would help convey the ideas that an instrumental song can't if that's more feasible. (The idea right now is 10 songs).

Tentative (incomplete) cover art that I created (obviously not pixeled):

Thanks for spending the time to read this wall of text if you made it this far!  No idea if I'll get a positive response, but a man can dream.
