I am looking for one or more artists to work with on a game that a friend and I have been making over the past year. The game is a top view, hybrid adventure/puzzle game *loosely* similar to the old "Adventures of Lolo" games if I had to compare it to something.

The game is now very much in the polish / content creation phase of construction, so it's time to expand the team and start replacing our terrible "programmer art" that we have inflicted on our game thus far XD

The game will initially be released on Windows, Android, and Linux. I fully intend on reaching a level of quality that will get us through steam greenlight.

We will need the following:

1: illustration (for title screens mostly)
2: gui related art, animated sprites (1 player, 6 mobs)
3: tilesets consisting of 40x40 tiles (sprites are not strictly bound to tile boundary's)
4: some freesized images that can be freely placed in the level to provide some non tile bound art to break up the tiled look a bit (things like overhanging foliage, grass, or cosmetic objects)

While it is a tile game, We are not specifically going for a "retro" look, personally I imagine visuals something like what Chrono Trigger has, but higher rez and cleaner looking.

All that being said, the artistic style is very open at this point and we will welcome input in that area with those that we choose to work with. This is a contractual position, we expect to be shipping by the end of summer.

To apply send as many images & links to your work as you like to: entelin@gmail.com as well as you're rates. Feel free to still apply if you can only partially fill some of the above needs, it is probable that we will be working with multiple people.
