Hey everybody, I've been stalking the galleries here to try and learn a thing or two about pixel art. Success has been varied. I've been teaching myself how to sprite for about 7 months now and I think it's time to get the response and critique of people actually good at pixel art. Here ore some things I've done so far:

And here is what I'm working on. Although I only have the outline and am stuck there I've no clue how to begin shading something this large

EDIT:
Here's a series of 32 x 32 pieces, I like 32 x 32 the best but I would really like to be able to start making things larger and keep them looking good.

This one's 50 x 50 but close enough:

Not knowing the order they were made I would say they all perfectly fine if you are starting out. The fox is the best piece here and certainly the one with the best pixelling and overall technique. The hands on the last lineart are weak...don't be trying the 'hide the hand' trick :p

fyi, posting art that is pre zoomed is not needed. Clicking any art zooms by 1X value and all know this. We rather see pixels at 1X and then zoom in to inspect.

Oh  okay thanks. I sometimes post some work in other forums and people always whine about them being small so I just resize them. Could you give me any tips with hands? I can do fists just not fingers they always look awkward. And hair. I'm terrible at hair
