I've done Wisps sprite from the Wii version of Sonic Colors and wanted to know everyone's opinions on them. I'm not trying to make the prettiest PA, I want them to stay recognizable even from up close.

I was hoping for some useful tips or suggestions.
Well I'll give you the single sprites in hope I get something this time.

The coloring is weak and just kinda pillow shaded. Try recoloring while you focus on the forms. They should improve vastly if you do. ------------- |

agreed with jalonso...
the sprites itself are quite nice and have a cute look to them but ur technique is a bit poor... look up some tutorials (especially the one by cure in the ressources section of this forum ) to learn a thing or two about coloring and specific pixel art techniques on this small of a scale it is very important how u place ur pixels and having only one in the wrong place can make a huge difference... heres an edit where i was trying to control the pixels a bit better
