Hello, 
I'm a beginning pixel artist, and decided to start doing weekly challenges to get better and practice. This weeks challenge (Just in case you don't know :P) is to basically make the first level of mario, but with a twist. I decided I wanted to make it seem a bit darker, and gloomier. (Whatever you want to call it lol) Any criticism will be much appreciated

Alright, well.... It would help to see the image... If those rocks are your image then you need a complete re-haul since they look like a bunch of floating rocks or rocks with a totally off perspective. You've also got banding on said rocks, with a weird tone shift anyways. |
