Hey. I'm a bit new here, and pretty new at pixel art. Right now I'm working on a time machine for a game idea I have.

| As I'm new to this as well only problem I have with it is the way you colored it. Kinda looks like a gradient which isn't really realistic in terms of shading. And one thing I'm trying to understand is, is that a door in the front, or just another side of the shape that is darker? |

| It will be a door. I haven't tried to put details in yet. I just want to know if the overall outline seems fine for now. And does the perspective of the chamber match the two things in the back? It's supposed to be somewhat top-down. |

Okay, I'm really confused as to what I'm looking at here. 1) The outline: The two things on either side seem kind of lopsided, but that might be what you're going for, idk. 2) I think that the two things on the side should extend further down, because it throws everything off. 3)The color. It's super bright, and I think I even see white on the very top. You should darken it. 4) Shading, you said you aren't done with the details, but I'm just throwing that out there lol.
I'm not a good artist by any means, but those really jumped out to me. It does look nice, so keep up the good work :) |

| I haven't really done any lessons on shading yet, I'm still quite the noob lol. Those two things in the background are spiraling tubes. None of the colors on there are final either, just wanted to be able to tell what is part of what I guess lol. Probably should have explained all this in the first post. |
