The company: Thrallsoft LLC. We are a start-up independent game development company with four motivated and skilled game developers (all programmers). Our website (work in progress) is www.thrallsoft.com

The game: Our game is an isometric turn-based tactical game, similar to the original x-com series. The game revolves around a zombie outbreak occurring in a large pharmaceutical company. The tone of the game is comedic, but the art style will be dark and gory. PC is our target platform, although the game is written in XNA, so a port to the xbox would be fairly simple.

The job: 2D artist for creation of assets to be used in a dark/comedic isometric-view tactical game (ala x-com). The assets we need include character sprites & animations, tile based terrain, UI elements, and static splash screens. A full list of the needed assets as well as character and environment concept art is available on request.

The artist: We need a skilled 2D artist who is able to use concept art to create animations in an isometric view. Examples of the style we're looking for can be found below.

The pay: We are offering a share of the game profits to one or more artists willing to work with us on the creation of the art assets for the game. If we are impressed with your talent and work ethic, and you feel like you can set and keep a schedule, we would be willing to contract with you in the future, or depending on the success of the game, hire you as a full time employee.

Please contact me - andrew at thrallsoft.com to discuss.
