This is the closest I've ever come to finishing pixel art. Obviously I used the Raiders of the Lost Ark poster as a reference. I'm at a loss for how to make it better. Should I scale it up 2x for detail? Anti-alias? REDUCE COLORS? I've been looking at this too long to be critical anymore.

The actual thing is really small, so I scaled it up for the sake of everyone:

I would actually be able to critique it a lot better if you showed it at the original size. :)

Oh jeez I didn't realize how hard it is to see at this size. Obviously I need to play with the colors more, and possibly even double the size to add more detail.

Great start! I like the drawing, but on the pixel part there are some improvements possible

Your pixel lacks EPNAP. Every Pixel Needs A Pupose

What are all single pixels doing on his shirt? What about the weird extra outline color on the right side of his trousers?
Try and clean it up and apply EPNAP
Example:

I don't think you should size this up, the size is great. If you can learn to detail at this size you can do anything :). Besides, what details would you like to add?

I couldn't resist the temptation to make it bigger. I think I'm on the right path. The noise is eliminated, so I'll come back to wrinkles later, and I had to destroy his face for now. Also I couldn't get the fingers right. But mainly, the whole piece is smoother now and the colors are tweaked to look a little better. I've done all I can do for now. My brain is melting.
