Who are we?
We're a young, two man strong indie game development studio, http://nukenine.com - Nuke Nine
What do we need?
We're looking for a talented 2D artist(you) who's looking to join a game dev team. You would be the primary artist, not only be determining the art direction of the game, but also designing the game with us.
Why should you join us, and not some other random team?
Our game is still in the engine development phase, which means that you'll have a huge say in what type of game we're making. Our current team of two programmers is strong, and we're passionate about the technical side of game development. We aren't using a pre-existing engine, because we're confident we can do better than what's already out there. We both have industry software engineering experience as well as game development experience.

Although this is initially an unpaid project, at some point we'd like to take it to the next level and sell our game. As you will be the founding art director for our studio, you'd get an equal share of the profits.

I've worked with Eugene and Kyle as artist and animator, for 5 ludum dare games. Some of that work can be found here dkeo.tumblr.com
It's always been fun working with them. They are both good guys, and have been very receptive to my ideas and designs. Both really know what they are doing.
If you are looking for a team to work with, highly recommend them.
