This is a room i'm making for an application to work for an iso community site. Ok, it's a bit plain so far. I'm planning on it being some sort of storage room or basement. If anyone could critique on the progress that'd be great, because i'm quite new to isometric stuff.

Any ideas on items in it? At the moment i'm trying to get a wall texture, like cinderblocks.

oo this is kinda in my field lol, well to start i would redo that corner of
shadeing because the AA on it isnt verry nice :S.

not much i can comment on, but where the walls end the lines dont
quite match up whee u have put the edge if u get what i mean.

also the top of the wall shouldnt be a shaded colour and should be
lighter, even tho normaly there would be a roof on it so u wouldnt see
it, it generaly looks better if u forget that. also the edge highlight colour
should be lighter then the light wall colour.

not much more i can think of so far but it looks good... and if u didnt
understand any of that say n ill try to explain better lol :D

I dunno if the shadow should really be curved; what position of a lightsource would do that? Also, adding a concrete/cinderblocks texture as you intend to will really help this peice.

i think you should get rid of the shadow in the corner, because it suggests that the wall is actually cut off not just "not-drawn".   I'm not an iso pro, but shouldn't all the shading imply that there are walls on all 4 sides, even though they're not shown? it just makes sense to me.. i dunno.

You've got a good start there, keep adding stuff.  Though, does the floor have to be so thick?

The floor in my apartment is that thick, then again, that's just how they build stuff out here.

it's going well. How about a window?

it's supposed to be a basement, so I say "nay" to windows

maybe one of those windows that are rectangles toward the ceiling, the ones that peek up out of the ground somewhere on the side of the house.

i thought of that, but i still think that no windows would make it feel more cramped.. you know? that's just my two cents
