This is my first post, i discover this place 3 days ago and this is a great community from what i saw. I would like ideas and comments please, this is for the Joint project. I was thinking of adding some matrix green letters to the background and maybe getting the ground a bit more dirty. Anyway, please comments so i can make it look better.

p.s: Please forgive my english i am a French Canadian and btw this is only my second creation.

Looks pretty good, but you need to work on the background... I think it doesn't matches the theme...

it'd be cool if he disappeared into the phone and reappeared again
fading in and out sort of
but it is cool how it is too.

Indeed it would be awesome but that kind of animation is for flash and i dont master this software, i did this small animation with Adobe Imageready, its only a 3 frames animation. :S

That background animation adds a lot to it. I think it could do with a little more detail in the coat though and the phone. Like put all the seams in his coat. there is a seam at the top of each shoulder and there should be a seam around the collar to. There are buttons running down the front. And maybe add some folds in the lower part of the coat and on the sleeves. On the phone mabe just add some dirt and scratches to give it character. A little detail in this piece can go a long way to make it 100x cooler. There is a good refrence below of what i'm talking about. It's looking really good don't stop now.

great work on the animation, it really dont seems to have only 3 frames, and the checkered floor fits perfectly
