VATAL Entertainment Studio is seeking talented individuals to contribute to our video game project: Infinities ( http://www.vatales.com - http://www.vatales.com ). Infinities is a currently non-funded independent video game project and labor of love for a small group of people who share a passion for quality gaming. As there is no money available at this time, all contributions are on a volunteer basis. While a position may be listed for a specific role, we always appreciate when someone can contribute to multiple areas of the project, including design, story, and community. We want you to join us and create an environment that allows you to contribute in any ways that emphasize your particular skills and interests. All we ask for now is a dedication of 3-5 hours per week of your time.
Positions
Concept Artist
Desired Qualities: Digital and/or analog illustration and editing, strong collaboration skills, self-motivation, work well with constructive feedback, timely, a really sweet sword we can all play with (preferred, not required).
Tasks: Work closely with creative director to generate iterative drafts and final products of concept art for characters, environments, interface, promotional materials, and web content.
Character Artist
Desired Qualities: Experience with creating animated pixel art, strong collaboration skills, self-motivation, gaming background preferred
Tasks: Develop high pixel count 2D character models for use in Infinities: The Chaos Paradox. Contributions to website as deemed necessary.
Environmental Artist
Desired Qualities: Background in futuristic sci-fi and magical fantasy art, ability to further develop existing art, self-motivation, an unyielding agenda of recycling glass and paper goods is a plus.
Tasks: Develop rich illustrations of landscapes, structures, and scenery for the Infinities Wiki, promotional materials, and use in Infinities: The Chaos Paradox.
Lead Artist
Of the artists who join the project, we will be looking for one to both fill their role and act as Lead Artist. It will be your responsibility to ensure all art content fits together with motifs and principles developed as your team works together. The Lead Artist may also be asked to attend project meetings to present his/her team's work and collaborate on design and story elements.
