Hi All,

ByteNibble LLC is currently looking for talented pixel artists to work with us on a project starting in early February.

This is a contracted position (per-work) and rates are negotiable, we believe in paying everyone fairly for their work.

I've attached the job spec below:

Do you see the world in 8-bit? Do you think the golden age of gaming was blocky sprites? If so, we might need you.
We're seeking a highly talented pixel artist to help us with an unannounced project.

You'll be expected to create and animate character sprites, game props, UI elements and environments (Multiple roles available).

Requirements:
* Be as passionate about games as us
* Strong pixel art portfolio
* Impeccable perspective drawing skills
* Experience working on 8-bit style RPGs
* Strong English communication skills
* Ability to follow art direction and style
* Creativity to create unique work in our setting
* An obsession for perfection down to the last pixel
* Strong animation skills (where appropriate)
* Ability to work to deadlines and maintain the highest standards

Work is scheduled to begin early February. Possibility of longer term contract is also open after you've blown us away with your first few contracts.

Compensation is per-work and negotiable depending on ability and complexity of work. We never ask applicants to provide custom samples for no compensation, we believe in rewarding everyone for all work done.

We make every effort to respond to all applicants, though this is not always possible depending on volume.

Apply via email to jobs@bytenibble.com with the subject "Pixel Artist". Please include a resume, portfolio and rates.

Successful applicants will need to agree to our standard Non-Disclosure and Work-For-Hire agreements.

You can find out more about the role at http://bytenibble.com/careers#pixel-artist - www.bytenibble.com/careers and more about us at http://bytenibble.com/ - www.bytenibble.com .

This is the first time we've worked with pixel artists, though we have a lot of experience working with Concept Artists, 3D Modellers, 3D Animators etc.

Please let us know if you're interested.

Thanks,
Joe
