Here you can see projects I have worked as a Lead artist. Lead artist means the one who creates the initial artistic
direction for a team of artists to follow, supervising them and also being responsible for the final appearance for the
art as a whole to look consistent and according to the client`s tastes. This process is essential when a large project
needs to be done in very short time, so more than one people is involved.

I hired Spyros for a hex-tile job: http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=18222

He did a very good job. He finished the job fast and made some good suggestions. He is a reliable and communicative artist.

I would always work together with him.

Thank you Spyros!

Bernd

Spyros Kontis was the first artist i have ever worked with on Pixel Joint, and i have to say he is a great artist.

He always finishes tasks before deadline and what i like about him the most is that he accepts criticism and works to fix anything you don't like in his art.

Long story short, you should be hiring him because of his skills as well as his low prices.

Hope we can work together again!

Thanks,
Sincerely,
Sers000 - Ihab Yaseen - Indie Game Developer

I commissioned Spyros to do some specifically drawn sprites. He was very good with his communication to make sure that I got the type of sprite that I wanted. I will use Spyros again if my project is able to get launched.

Spyros has been doing some animation jobs for me. I plan to keep working with him on the project (http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=24538), as his attention to detail, skill and prices are amazing!

He's very clear, understanding and keeps in contact on a very regular basis. I'm usually bit concerned when hiring a freelancer, as you don't know if they're reliable. If you work with Spyros you won't have those concerns, as he is one of the most reliable people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with!

I plan to keep in contact with him, as it's rare you get someone that provides the same level of service that Spyros provides.

Gotta say, I'm extremely fortunate to have found Spyros.

He's a very versatile, very easy-going artist that puts your needs first. No matter what, my requests have always been done in a speedy, efficient manner -- and most importantly, he has great communication skills.

But these qualities pale in comparison to not only his art range, but the beauty of the sprite work. Would hire again when I get more money.

I intend to hire him again very soon.

https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=61117.new

I went on the Tigsource forums looking for someone to do grunt work for cheap for a game I want to make and managed to find Spyros. I sent him a Set of Platypus Isometric sprites (1 frame) and then made 1 example sprite of it in all 8 direction to give him an idea of what I wanted and got him to make all other 93 platypus 8 directional which he sent back to me so I could animate them

http://envisionarylunacy.deviantart.com/gallery/63147024/Animated-Platypus-Sprites

and now look at them all! they are adorable! and alive!
he is amazing and I highly recommend

I never would have done it without his help

he beat everyone else's prices and was very very negotiable on which core frames I needed so I could get the results I wanted for the price I wanted while doing the parts I could do myself to save money

Spyros contacted me in response to http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=25497&KW=Paid - this post . I hired him to perform the second of the listed jobs; he produced all of the "kineticist" animations I required in a timely manner, a couple of which you can see below:

Once that was complete, I hired him to produce an "unpromoted" variant of this unit, which he did--and after that, I hired him once more to animate some pixel art "spell" effects for me:

After that, I then hired Spyros once more to produce a variety of class-specific "rally" animations.

I'm quite pleased with Spyros's work. I found him to be a dependable worker, and I feel I got good value for what I spent.
