Simple question, feel silly for asking, but thought I would anyway.

Are pieces aimed for the gallery allowed to have text on them?

I'm currently working on a four panel piece that showcases different weapons from a popular video game. Of course the focus of the piece is the weapons themselves, but I thought I'd include a tasteful quotation in the panel of each weapon from their respective wielder to reduce empty space.

That sound like something that's okay? Or are there any alternative suggestions? I have considered transparencies, but I think it takes away from it all.

Sorry to be a bother, and thanks in advance.

Fonts are ok so long as they are pixel fonts.
Handmade pixel fonts are best but we do overlook premade fonts that are pixel fonts. No TT, PS or anything like that.
Planty of links in the link section if you need and also a pixel font creator utilities on there.
