Recently I had an idea. There are those out there who are more fortunate then others, those that have artistic talent, and the main thing in the 2D game development world, those who can sprite. It's always been something that I've wanted to be able to do, sprite, but I'm just terrible at art. So how do you overcome this? The first way to get original sprites is to get someone to make them for you, but then your always waiting for them. And then if you just plainly can't teach yourself how to sprite where do you go next? Dead end.

That is until the idea of the Sprite Designer was invented. Now if I haven't already made it clear, I am a programmer without an artistic bone in my body, and so I think this could be the solution to all our problems. But I'm going to need some help.

Now you see this sprite design programme isn't a paint programme, or something like that. No this is different. When completed this programme will have libraries of interchangeable sprites. That is a library of sprites where you can change every bit of the sprite that you have to create something completely new. From t-shirt and trousers to eye colour. From Hair style to the bulk of the arms.

A great vision, even if I do say so myself :). Anyway, where do you come in? Well it's fairly obvious, I can't sprite, I'll just be making the thing. But I need your help to createt these interchangable sprite libraries. This might seem like a lot of work at first, but it's really just editing a lot from the original base. Making sure everything fits on the original base. :D.

Anyway, I've already said it. I need your help. Are you willing to give it?

Yeah, sounds very similar to dolling, and theres already too many websites dedicated to that!

And honestly, why would spriters like us want to deprive ourselves of future employment opportunities?

In other news you really havent adhered to the http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=671&PN=1 - 'Job Posting Terms.'  Despite extensively covering the job info, you seem to have failed in every other aspect.
