I don't post WIPs very often. This is a picture that I've been working on at the office. Not the most vibrant and colorful piece, but it's heavy with aa.

There are a few trouble areas that I'm already addressing. Critque if you'd like. This WIP will only be posted here. When the piece is finished, I'll provide a step-by-step animation.

Oh. And it's 12 colors. I may add one or two more.

That's beautiful, and the colors are greta for this subject matter. I only have a problem with the clouds looking too asian to fit in perfectly

Very fair, jalonso. The piece is going to be very surreal, so they may or may not stay in there. They might look neat if they clash properly (if that makes any sense). It's also going to be freakin' huge. I'm shooting for 800 x 600 or larger.

There's something about his arms that just don't feel right to me. The way they overlap his body look strange, I think it is. Like his shoulders are stemming a bit from his chest, rather than the sides. It is possible to move your arms like that, but it just looks uncomfortable. Then again, it sort of fits in because it seems like he's being constricted or trapped which seems to be a bit of theme going on in the piece so far with the tubes tangling him.

I guess my comment doesn't help anything at all, I just like to ramble.

Nope. Very valid comment, Blick. I think that when I add more wrinkles to the shirt, it'll help to make him look more relaxed. I'll play with the shoulders more as the time comes. Thank you.
