I am part of a 2 person development group, funding our dream of creating video games out of pocket. We need someone to design our menus and HUDS using existing, and newly created assets, to give our game the professional look we think it deserves. Currently the level select menu scrolls witht he background of the level that has been selected. a list of the things that we need (open for exchanging ideas)
-New intro screen design.
-We have 4 levels where we need the name/ high score to be displayed.
-We need buttons for:
play, credits, retry, main menu, buy, how to play,
-We need a popup box for purchase confirmations
-We need a popup box (Can be the same one as above) to tell the player things like "Not enough money"
-We need a way to let the player know what each of the four character's special ability is, and what each of the three boosts do. Currently, there is a description box that changes depending on what character is selected. Right now the player and boost selections confuse the players.
The HUD elements we need are:
Scoring elements in the top right(distance traveled, coins collected, survivors collected)
-In the top left, How much ability power the player has, until they can use their ability.
-Pause button
-Summary screen on death(this shows difference traveled, objects collected count, and total score)
--Custom texts that fit the game (optional)
-Game logo for our app
