Allright I just started at this thing, been aroud for a time because i love pixel but never got the time.
I read the detailed tutorial, and following the recomendations ther, i made a small GB pallette thig. It's supposed to be a world globe. Any tips?

Welcome to PJ! You did great on the globe! Nothing 'wrong' with it, except that the bottom left corner is rounded off slightly differently than the other corners, which looks a bit off. But this is single pixel nitpicking. Now that you have something that works, it is the job of the artist to make it more interesting! Simple things that come to mind is to shade it a little bit, like it is a ball! Or perhaps it is floating in space like planets do! Or if you choose to keep it just an 'icon' you can stylize it even more! I demonstrated these options...  Of course there are many more options, perhaps you can make it look like an antique desk globe with a stand, or try and have a different texture/color between a mountain area and the desert. Or choose to make something completely new make that look interesting too! ------------- |
