Shark suggested I post the dragon here but I don't really like it, thought I would post this old thing instead.

Like I said, its pretty old, what improvements would you suggest? Whats good about it? (thats usually what you talk about right? )

It needs the edge of the shadow to contour with the rocks. Also, the door should have a light edge where the light hits it. On the top, the bulbs don't seem to work with the light BG you have. Also, the rocks look a bit too 3d, use the highlight tone less and see how it looks. Good luck, I like the roof, and thanks for all the fish!

 Hmm..too much colors. If you're going for an SNES kind of look, you should use 16 colors. The castle is well constructed though.

reduce the contrast that the individual stones have (to create a more wall like texture) then play around with the corner a bit (make it less straight) and then up the contrast between the left and right. same goes for the roof.
and the door could use a highlight like monkey mentioned
