Hi! I'm now trying to make my first pixel style game. "Panthera Commando"
The current thing I'm now struggle with is to make a decent explosion effect. I've managed to make some variations here.
Do you guys have any suggestion on these? of how to improve them or any better ways to do explosion/effect animation?

I have never tried explosions and only just started walk cycle but here is what I see wrong:
Explosions:
They fall off too quickly, they are gone just as fast as they appear, they need to fade out much slower, see here:

Walk Cycle:
The character looks to me as though they are limping, maybe bring the feet in closer to avoid this? Although that is a complete guess and not a solution.
With that said though, awesome art.

I'm new to this so I don't have much knowledge in this area, but I definitely agree with everything Latch said. Looks great though!
