Hey all.
Made my first submission to Pixel Joint, it was a simple cube made following PixelBlink's tutorial (which I stated in my description) but it was rejected. I can't work out what got it rejected, unless it was rejected because it's a copy of the tutorial (with my own colours)?

I submitted it not to garner points, but to just keep a log of my work when I'm learning to make pixel art.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Edit: Perhaps this counts as an "edit" which is against the rules, though I created it all by hand.

I never even saw this but would have sent it back too.
You are right that it is a 'copy' of someone else's work even tho you pixelled it. It the same as if you pixel a Mario all by yourself but the pixels are exactly where the original creator placed them.
Documenting your progress is cool but you gotta be original and creative from the get go ;)

Thanks for the reply, I'll make sure to not do it again.
Struggling to create anything good yet, but I literally started an hour ago.
