I expected a general catch all thread for WiP works but that doesn't seem to exist, so I decided to start one just for me...

Working on a dragon using the frankenpalette, any advice? Kinda blends together...

Some zombie sprites for a game - feedback appreciated, esp. on the AA, I've never used this much before.

Oh god not... THAT palette!

Seriously now. That pallette I feel is really good practice, it take skill to make a quality peice with a dreadful pallette. Looks good so far,

Thanks. Sure it's not the best palette, but it's very striking, which is why I chose it.

More sprites:

I'm planning to change outlines so they're solid black on the outside and do any highlighting inside, so that they'll look good on any color background.
Thoughts?

Some human sprites who, I can't deny, were inspired by Irkalla. Colors mixed from some of my old work + Irkalla + DB's palette. Thinking about animating them, but I'm not sure what I'd use them for...

Also, here's an old abstract art piece. Not really worth uploading to the main gallery.

I'm considering practicing more and, eventually, trying to get commissions, so the plan is to upload a lot of work to this thread and use it as a portfolio of work, and more importantly, evolution. Seems like if I can get some critique and then re-upload an improved piece, that would look even better to prospective commissioners.

Used a demo of Hexels. I know it's not pixel art, but it's related to the dragon scale WIP piece. Thinking about making some temp sprites for a game with Hexels.
