You go to the art page and click the 'edit it' under the art and upload the revisions and then hit the 'resubmit' at the bottom of the page.

2:This sprite was made from scratch, but the mod reported it as a rip/edit. It is NOT a rip or an edit. I would have been able to resolve this sooner if the mods themselves would message me about this instead of using just a system message. So what am I supposed to do about it?
Unsure who sent this back and why exactly. We are unable to personally send a message and explain every pixel that requires some revision because the Mods are pixelartists too not just sitting around modding and evaluating other's work. Its up to you (all) to ask questions if you have any here as you have.

Being that you joined today and this is your first submission it is a little 'gripe-ish'.
Trans BGs are NOT required but encouraged and preferred. You show your sprite on a pink BG that makes the face color outline hard to see so there is no magic BG color. Trans BGs look better and most PJers prefer them. Using placeholder pink or green as you have here is considered a game asset for programmer use and not public display. The reason these colors are used is because noone in their right mind would use seizure inducing colors and programmers can easily isolate these shaded in the code. Anyhoo, when a non trans BG is used we just evaluate if its really needed for that piece on a case by case basis and whenever anyone writes in the description that the BG is deliberate then that takes care of that. We do not question artistic choices. Had I been online when your piece was in the public queue I would have sent this back for the BG for the color alone.

need or use for, and frankly, this just sounds totally arbitrary, and
I'd like an explanation for it.
Thank you.
Yeah...these things happen in all kinds of places. Life and art do have an affinity for the arbitrary. We have no explanation for these bigger life questions
