Hello,

I'm looking for someone who would be interested in supplying some basic artwork for an RPG-type project that I am working on.  As this project is a work-in-progress - and actually just a tech demo - I'm looking for material that isn't professional quality but isn't also programmer art (that's my specialty!)

The job will be broken down into a minimum of four tasks, each task will get paid.  I'm willing to pay approximately $50-$75 for each task.  The tasks are as follows, in order of completion priority:

1) Map overworld, overhead perspective
---Forest, trees
---Grass, dirt, sand
---Water, lakes, rivers
---Mountains
---Rockwalls, cave entrances
---Landmarks that represent towns, cities, a prison
2) Map overworld, side perspective
3) In-town map, building exteriors
4) In-town map, building interiors

As for the graphic specifications:
1) Tiles are 32x32px
2) Character sprites are 32x64px (just for design considerations)
3) Not animated (any tiles that could be animated, in the future, need to be split apart from static)
4) Conforms to a color palette (e.g., DawnBringer's) or the Sega Genesis palette

I really enjoy the rich colors on the Sega Genesis color palette compared to the bright colors the SNES games typically employ.

If you are interested, please send me an e-mail at mailto:kernja@playbukketgames.com - kernja@playbukketgames.com .   Here are some images from Phantasy Star to describe what I'm highly inspired by (ideally in a perfect world full of unicorns and puppies):

EDIT:  I also like this look two.  A combination of the two, perhaps?
