Ahhh, I don't really know why I'm even attempting this. xD


I'll probably add a scarf and perhaps a loose belt of some kind to make her more interesting to look at. The edges are a little funky because I want it to work on the dark background if I'm gonna try and enter it to King of Spriters. :\ Any C&C is, of course, welcome.

EDIT: Here's the sprite with the scarf and the WIP portrait.


EDIT2: Okay, here are the (probably) final versions. Any last changes? : D

Oh, and the portrait is optimized for the dark background. ;D

A loose sash around her waist would definitely make it a lot more interesting and break up the pattern on her body. A scarf might get too complicated though and get mixed up in the face area.

I would probably only point out the feet as seeming perhaps out of perspective? Otherwise, it truly is excellent, cant wait for the scarf.

Oh yes, and now it isn't 4am i have just noticed the knees seem a tad bright. I mean, it doesn't look drastically bad, but seems a bit odd.

I don't think the feet are out of perspective. I think she's just standing on the ball of her foot, rather than flat footed.

I like her the way she is (like yur av) tis very very... hrm... not nice, better than nice :P but pretty sounds weird

The knees are akwardly bright.
Also, I agree with Blick that a loose sash would just mke it look better and less repetitive.

It could make it too complicated however...

I love the scarf you've added. Having it falling between her legs is wonderful! And CDI, i think pretty would work pretty well with this. Apart from the scary werewolf limbs...

The portrait's coming along swimmingly! I love the texture and shading in her hair... can't wait to see this finished, could well be my favourite KOS piece.

the portrait is quite loverly :D soemthing seems abit odd about the face, but I can't quite say what. I love the hair, the scarf seems like it has very few colors compared to the rest of it though. as for the sprite, r0xxx0rz.

But yes, the scarf does seem a tad plain. I don't think there's much that can be done about that though, unless you add more shades.

The hand is a bit too big and as it is behind the face, face should be more centralized so I wouldn't notice the hand first. Add some more highlights to its face and to its rug over its neck.
