Konichiwa(hello),

I am Nathan, the creator of GetWiiU.com . GetWiiU.com is a website dedicated to promoting the Wii U and expanding it's community.

We are now looking for a artist on the team, someone that can make professional graphics for advertisements. We prefer general anime style similar to Code Geass and for pixel art to make that of Earthbound SNES.

This offer is for a part time job on the project.

If you think you have what it takes, send an email to contact@getwiiu.com, answering the following questions:

Name:
Age:
Location:
Skype:
Previous projects:
Current projects (if any):
Link to portfolio/pixeljoint gallery:

Feel free to attach anything you've made you think could help, even if it's not pixel art. We do not bite!

Payments and project details will be discussed via Skype if we decide to contact you.

Thank you

Ahhh.. What?

I was going to apply to this, but this doesn't look legit.

The real WiiU website is here:

The site is a fan site and is still in progress.

It's mean to do a rogue presentation of Nintendo that caters to those people on the fence about buying a Wii U.

Why is this a copy-paste from Mhyre's job posting? You literally kept almost everything the same. It just seems unprofessional that you can't even write your own job description/requirements.

It's an industry standard.

Not at all. The job description that I wrote just has things that I'm looking for personally. You can copy/paste it if you're looking for the same things, but don't say it's an industry standard because it really isn't.

I think while we're mostly pixel artists, must acknowledge the people using the work posting area are usually not as familiar with the website as us. Honestly, I think its flattering he found a posting he thought was organized and used the format.

That's why there is the "READ BEFORE POSTING" thread stickied to the top of this forum. There is everything you need to know about posting a job in there. It just looks unprofessional to copy, word for word, the job description from another company.
