Hi all.

I've been experimenting with an HTML5-based pixel art editor. It's loosely inspired by GrafX2. There's nothing much to show yet, I've been occupied with low-level stuff.

You can draw lines at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/138485812/editabled/fullscreen.html - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/138485812/editabled/fullscreen.html . c to randomize colour, arrow keys to pan. (The red bit at the bottom is planned to be a button panel.)

I have my own plans for the editor, but I'm not much of an artist when it comes down to it. So, I'm wondering - do you have a feature you can't live without, or something that really annoys you about an editor you use?
Example: For me, I really like GrafX's right-click-to-sample, because I switch up colours a lot from the image. It's reliance on palettes and resulting inflexibility around transparency is really annoying, though. … Gimp's UI just blows, Photoshop is monolithic, and Paint.NET while capable was hard to configure comfortably and only runs on Windows anyway.

Links to previous discussions are always welcome too. Thanks!
