Hello, I'm looking for pixel artists to work on an arcade-style vertical shooter in similar style to titles such as "Raiden" and "Aero-Fighters". Some of you in the forum may remember seeing some work on it a while back in the WIP section. The project is currently being worked on by myself (graphics artist), and a friend of mine; a very experienced and capable programmer who has already finished a large amount of the functionality of the game engine. We are looking for people to work on pixel art graphics for the game. This includes sprites, tiles, large backgrops and HUD graphics; basically whatever is needed at the time. The project is well developed and well planned. It would be preferred if you have a strong passion for games and game making. Here are some samples of the game's graphics at the moment, this and above are the levels of quality the project is constantly striving to achieve.       This is purely for the fun and experience of making a high quality game, the work is unpaid. You will be given full credit for everything you create and if the project ever gestates into a business venture, you can be sure to get your share.
