Ok if you bother to look at this please respond: Are you allowed to get a picture off google, minimize it, clean it up shade it in and consider it your pixel art? |

if its traced yes, but dont just rescale the image, put it on a lower layer in photoshop or something and then draw over it so all the pixels were placed by you. take note to give an url for the reference/original art ------------- ▄▄█ ▄▄█ ▄█▄ ▄█▄ |

| well it looks like its drawn with flash so i printed it out, traced it, scanned it, resized it and cleaned it up. Thats ok right? |

Hm, tracing is fine in my opinion - as long as you give a link to the original image. EDIT: d'oh. Snader posted pretty much the same thing. I guess it's up to the mods/admins, they decide what gets approved. ------------- |

reference material is a useful tool, filtering the image to simulate
pixel art and claiming its original is not good though. Placing ref
material is always a good idea.
