hello there fellow pixel artists/
it's been a long time since i did anything here, and god knows how depressed I feel if I don't get feedback/ so I started a new thing yesterday for a french context (which ends tonight, no chance I'll finish it in time), and I'd like to take time and make it a big thing/ hence the wipppp 
palette was imposed, but does not quite fit the style I'm going for, might tweak it a bit later. (official palette http://www.retropixel.fr/pixel/data/contests/contest_id86/color_86.png - palette )/ everything was put in the same area, but these elements won't be like that later on/ anyway, this is the beginning, feel free to give any kind of feedback <33/ |

Nice start! I like the action that's taking place, as well as the figures themselves.
I do wish there was more contrasty shading. I think the purple could work - what if the shadows were a touch more obvious, though? I don't think the blue works in the shirt. It's a bit of a conflict, like red and orange, you know? Hilarious how he's just standing there, watching. I would change the slant of the "A." Looks like "Finnl" to me. However, I quite like how there are matching colours in there, like the purple and red! Also, graphic design nitpick - move "stage" a touch closer. I like the contrast between blocky and handwriting 'font,' though! |
